System Overview

Design & Applications

The Three Main Parts

A Continuous Sediment Monitoring System installation is made up of three connected parts, working together to deliver continuous, hands-off sediment monitoring.

Scanning Head

A sediment monitoring system fitted to a panhead, providing the angular scans of the dam or reservoir bed.

Onsite Cabinet

A cabinet inside the dam housing a computer running Bathyswath software, alongside the communications equipment.

Remote Archive

A remote computer system that archives the data from each scan, ready for analysis.
