Bathyswath-3 Sigma

Bathyswath-3 SIGMA is an integrated system including : INS & GNSS receiver board for motion sensing, position and heading, a sound velocity sensor and an integrated single-board computer to aid integration with external software packages. It is ideal for mounting on a pole over the side of a boat or for fitting directly inside a USV.

Key Advantages

Bathyswath‑3 Key Features

A complete redesign of sonar electronics, signal processing, and hardware, delivering improvements at every level of the system.

Better Bathymetry & Sidescan Data Quality

Calculates sound wave angle at each or many range samples. Depth accuracy is improved by combining points, giving similar angle and range resolution to normal multibeam sonars. Angular cover is not limited, with long sideways range giving excellent results in very shallow water.

Better bathymetry data quality and better sidescan quality, from a single survey pass.

Depth Accuracy

Depth accuracy improved by combining points, giving similar angle and range resolution and accuracy to normal multibeam sonars.

High Resolution Sidescan

High resolution sidescan imaging delivered alongside bathymetry in a single survey pass, with no extra equipment.
